A pleasant little place and charming in it’s simplicity. The Palazzo Desdemona is situated on a peaceful, palm-lined avenue only five minutes walk from the beach and boasts a privileged location overlooking the ancient walls of Essaouira.

Standing on the rooftop terrace, one can marvel at Essaouira's picturesque coastline.

The Palazzo Desdemona is the former dwelling of a Sultan Merchant dating from the second half of the nineteenth century. Immerse yourself in the history and culture of a house with character - authentic and elegant - but comfortable, for a reasonable budget.

Accommodation

There are seven rooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and most with fireplace and rustic four-poster bed. The rooms are large (the suites are 40 to 56 m2), elegantly decorated with simple fabrics and traditional objects.

This maison d'hôte has a large lounge area with pillars, arches and a fireplace where guests can have breakfast.

Finally, the location of the house and the thickness of its walls, provide a calm haven.

Please Note: Palazzo Desdemona is required to apply a Tourism Promotion Tax of 8.80 DH per person per night as well as 5.50 DH Stay Tax per person per night – which will be charged upon check out.

MAKING A RESERVATION

What am I getting? - Your reservation at the Palazzo Desdemona includes bed & breakfast and all taxes. Please note that your reservation does not include transfers from the airport to the hotel.

What happens next? - After clicking "Book Now" you will be directed to a secured page requesting your details. After completing your details click "Confirm Booking." Thereafter you will receive confirmation of your reservation at the email address you provided. Your resevation is now confirmed and no further action is required on your behalf. Once again we would like to remind you that all information provided on EasyAfrica is done securely.

Cancellation policy - Due to the high demand of accommodation in Morocco hoteliers need to be made aware if you are unable to fulfill your reservation. A late cancellation means that the hotelier may not sell the room to another guest. Therefore all hotels have cancellation policies.

At the Palazzo Desdemona cancellations made later than 30 days prior to date of arrival will result in a 50% of total cost cancellation fee. Any cancellation made later that 14 days prior to date of arrival will result in 100% of total cost cancellation fee.

Payment Policy - When making a reservation on EasyAfrica a non refundable deposit of 20% is paid immediately to confirm your reservation. The balance is payable to the hotel upon check in/check out.

Reservation Request
All reservations made on EasyAfrica are confirmed immediately online. If however you do not wish to confirm your reservation immediately, require further information before doing so or cannot find availability please send your requests to info@easyafrica.co.uk
